Just got my latest Janoshik results back for QSC (Qingdao Sigma Chemical) semaglutide 5mg vials, batch #QSC-SEM-2026-0219.
Results: 98.4% purity ✅
Janoshik Report: #JNK-2026-05103
Test Date: March 2, 2026
Sample submitted: February 22, 2026
This is my 4th QSC batch I've tested and they've all come back excellent:
- Batch Oct 2025: 97.6%
- Batch Dec 2025: 98.1%
- Batch Jan 2026: 97.3%
- Batch Jun 2026: 98.4% (this one)
Average across 4 tests: 97.85%
Cost of Janoshik test: $135 for single peptide ID + purity
Cost of vials tested: $21 each from QSC
I know testing adds cost but honestly for my first order from any new batch, I consider it mandatory. $135 for peace of mind that what I'm putting in my body is what it says it is? Worth every penny.
Happy to answer any questions about the testing process.

98.4% is excellent. That's essentially pharmaceutical grade.
For context, USP (United States Pharmacopeia) standards for injectable peptides generally require ≥95% purity. Brand Novo Nordisk Ozempic targets 99%+ but even they have acceptable ranges.
QSC has been remarkably consistent in community testing. I maintain a spreadsheet of all published Janoshik results for verified vendors and QSC's semaglutide averages 97.8% across 42 community-submitted tests over the past 18 months.

Can someone explain how the Janoshik testing works? Like do you literally mail them a vial? How long does it take? And is $135 the standard price?
I want to test my first order but I'm confused about the process.

Dr.PathRoch Sure! Here's the process:
1. Go to janoshik.com and fill out the submission form
2. They'll give you a mailing address (it's in Czech Republic)
3. You put a small sample (usually one vial or a portion) in a padded envelope and mail it. I use USPS First Class International — costs about $15-20
4. Transit takes about 7-10 days to Europe
5. They run the analysis and email you results in about 5-7 business days after receiving
Costs:
- Basic peptide purity test: $135
- Full peptide panel (purity + identity + impurities): $220
- Rush processing: add $75
For a first-time order, I'd recommend at least the basic purity test. If you really want to be thorough, the full panel is nice but the basic one tells you what you need to know.
Total turnaround from mailing to results: usually 2-3 weeks.

Just to add to the testing discussion — PeptideDetective Labs is the other reputable option. They're US-based so shipping is faster and cheaper.
PeptideDetective pricing:
- Peptide purity: $120
- Full panel: $195
- Turnaround: 5-10 business days after receipt
I've used both and the results are very comparable. My QSC sema tested at 97.8% at Janoshik and 97.6% at PeptideDetective from the same batch. The 0.2% difference is within normal analytical variation.
Both are legitimate, independent labs. Use whichever is more convenient.
