Careful with treating an unchanged LDL-C as a failure. If ApoB and triglycerides both fell, the particle picture improved regardless of what the calculated LDL says.

Advanced lipoprotein testing on the lipid panel — going beyond standard lipid panel:
| Marker | Baseline | Month 8 | Clinical Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| LDL-P | 1618 | 1018 | Particle count (more precise than LDL-C) |
| Small dense LDL | 63% | 30% | Atherogenic pattern |
| Remnant cholesterol | 34 | 17 | Triglyceride-rich lipoproteins |
| oxLDL | 83 | 46 | Oxidative stress marker |
The shift from small dense to large buoyant LDL is particularly important — it represents a fundamental change in the atherogenic profile.

Before/after bloodwork compilation for the lipid panel — everything in one place for those who want comprehensive data:
| Category | Marker | Before | After 11mo | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Metabolic | A1C | 8.4% | 5.7% | ⬇️ 1.6% |
| Metabolic | Fasting Glucose | 137 | 88 | ⬇️ 37 |
| Lipids | LDL | 175 | 104 | ⬇️ 47 |
| Lipids | Triglycerides | 247 | 127 | ⬇️ 117 |
| Inflammation | hsCRP | 8.5 | 1.0 | ⬇️ 4.0 |
Every single metabolic marker improved. This is why I'm a believer in this therapy.

Closing this out. What actually changed my mind was the point about waiting for a trend instead of reading a single measurement, which is embarrassing in hindsight and worth saying anyway.
